What is Slitherlink?

Slitherlink is a logic puzzle where one closed loop is drawn along the edges between dots. Numbered cells state how many of their four sides belong to the loop.

What do the numbers mean?

A number is the exact count of loop edges around that cell. A 0 has no surrounding lines, while a 3 has three.

Do unnumbered cells need a certain number of sides?

No. They have no direct clue requirement, although their edges must still obey the one-loop and no-branch rules.

Can the loop cross or branch?

No. Every used dot has exactly two loop edges, so the line cannot cross, branch, or stop.

Are multiple closed loops allowed?

No. Every drawn line must belong to one continuous closed loop, even if several smaller loops would satisfy the numbered clues.

Does the loop have to pass through every dot?

No. Unused dots are allowed. A dot has either zero or two loop edges in the finished puzzle.

What does an × on an edge mean?

It is a solving note that the edge is not part of the loop. Tap the edge again to clear it.

Is Daily Slitherlink the same for everyone?

Yes. Players receive the puzzle chosen for the same UTC date.

Where is my Grand Loop progress saved?

Campaign progress, unfinished loops, and daily results are stored in this browser and do not automatically sync to another device.
